Chemical Composition
The source is made of a PMMA cube which contains in the centre a Na22 radioactive seed. The seed is manufactured by depositing metallic salts on resin base.
The source manufacturer supplies information of the activity and time of calibration. This should be around 370 kBq (10 uCi) but please refer to the information present on the plastic case label. In addition, the source is accompanied with a datasheet with other relevant information, find a sample of this certificate in the appendix.
