Introduction
PET inserts are currently available in two different dimensions depending on the type of magnet and gradient coil used in the MR instrument:

- PET Insert 198:
For 30 cm inner diameter magnets as for example BioSpec USR 70/30 with the gradient coil B-GA 20S HP, a PET insert with outer/inner diameter of 198/114 applies.
- ▪
- PET Insert 103:
For 20 or 17 cm inner diameter magnets as for example BioSpec USR 70/20 with gradient coil B-GA 12S HP or B-GA 105S HP, a PET insert with outer/inner diameter of 103/060 mm applies (for the larger diameter, a mounting adaptor is provided).

Bruker PET inserts are based on a technology of n=1, 2, or 3 detector rings with Silicon Photo Multipliers (PET Insert nR SiPM).
