User Interface Panel
The User Interface Panel
at the side allows easy access for users and service to interface to components partly located within the RF shielded ATS cover. The connections are RF filtered where applicable. Please note that no conducting wires are to be put through the spare pipes described below in order not to violate the RF shielding.

| Optional connector (BNC female) to trigger the instrument (*). This is an alternative input to the cable AM IN 1 located at the user console that typically connects to the SA Instruments ERT Control/Gating Module, port GATE. Do not connect different sources at the same time to TRIG IN 1 and AM IN 1. |
| Optional connector (BNC female) to trigger the instrument (*). This is an alternative input to the cable AM IN 2 located at the user console that typically connects to the SA Instruments ERT Control/Gating Module, port RESP GATE. Do not connect different sources at the same time to TRIG IN 2 and AM IN 2. |

| Spare pipes for customized hoses or fibre optics. Typically fibre optic to SA Instruments ERT Monitoring & Gating module and Waste Anesthesia Gas (WAG) suction hose. Do not use conducting wires. |
