Transport
The PET Insert can be carefully transported over short distances on adequate plain surfaces by pushing the trolley at the handrails.
 
CAUTION
Personal injury during disassembly and transport.
•
Shut down compressed air prior to disassembly.
•
Disconnect (or connect) compressed air tubes only when air compressor is disabled.
•
Push the PET Insert trolley only with detector tube aligned with the long axis.
•
Push the PET Insert trolley only when wheel brakes are released.
•
Use handrail to push the PET Insert trolley.
 
 
For the transportation of the PET Insert over long distances, the PET Insert needs to be placed in the dedicated transport boxes that were initially used during the installation of the PET Insert. Please contact Bruker if replacement boxes are needed.
Make sure that during the transport, the following transport and transport environmental conditions are fulfilled:

Use in indoors only.
▪
Height up to 2000 m above sea level.
▪
Temperature range 5°C to 40°C.
▪
Highest relative humidity 80% for temperatures up to 31°C, declining thereafter linearly to 50% relative humidity at 40°C.
▪
Degree of pollution II.
