To close the cradle, insert the cover shell on the connector side (rear) of the bottom shell and press gently down the cover shell on the opposite site to lock (front).

To open the cradle, compress the cover shell at the front of the cradle, then lift it.

 

For better access to the lower animal trays and if only two animals are used, the upper animal tray can be removed.

 

It is advisable to connect the anesthesia and respiratory hoses and the cradle first to the ATS prior to placing the animals onto the cradle.
