PET/MR Acquisition Workplace
The acquisition workplace consists of the main Linux based host computer (HP Z4G4 or newer), equipped with two 24” full HD and high image contrast monitors, and peripheries like mouse, keyboard or a printer.
For efficient and fast PET data reconstruction and storage, the main PET/MR workplace is extended by the PET RECO SERVER, a reconstruction server with multiple GPU’s and RAID storage system and that also communicates directly with the PET acquisition system. The PET/MR workplace communicates and the PET RECO server are connected via a Ethernet based local network.
During normal operation, no direct user interaction is required on the PET RECO server. Remote desktop is used to run quality control tools, service tools and for computer administration of the RECO server.
Due to the enhanced requirements regarding a common ground of the PET/MR instrument, it is recommended to connect the computer and all peripheral devices with mains via the central line power distribution panel (LPD) of the PET/MR instrument.
For the PET/MR workplace computer and for the PET RECO server, multiple performance upgrade options exist. Please contact your local Bruker office if such upgrades are required.
