Cleaning the Gradient Water Strainer
Water “Y” strainer
Cleaning or replacement of the strainer needs to be done in the following steps:
- 1.
- Stop the gradient pump by turning the MR instrument to OFF.
- 2.
- Close the shut-off valve of the gradient cooling circuit.
- 3.
- Drain the water reservoir or collect the remaining water between shut-off valve and strainer in a small bucket. Avoid dripping water into the pump below.
Cover with strainer
- 1.
- Unscrew the cover and pull out the strainer.
- 2.
- Clean the strainer.
- 3.
- Insert and tighten the strainer again.
- 4.
- Fill the reservoir up to FULL level mark.
- 5.
- Open the shut-off valve of the gradient cooling circuit.
- 6.
- Switch ON the MR instrument.
