Quality Assurance
The MR instrument is designed and produced to offer continuously reproducible performance on a high level. For that purpose, the following quality assurance strategies must be implemented:
- Regular maintenance: The system owner is responsible for the execution of complete routine checks and periodic maintenance to ensure a safe and satisfactory operation of the instrument. In some countries, the proof of these measures is required by the local authorities. The content of regular maintenance is described in the system owner manual.
- Preventative system checks on a daily basis: For a reliable operation, some status information of the scanner should be checked before the scanner is used.
- Quality Assurance checks: This checks allow the early detection of functional degradation or hidden damage of scanner components.
