QA Setup
For QA, use
- rat head load phantom T10475
- in combination with the TIP 40 mm of the animal cradle
- tape the rear of the phantom to the animal bed
The QA phantom typically represents a loaded condition of the MRI RF Coil.
Start the QA workflow as follows:
- Remove the air bubble in the phantom from the volume of interest by using the air bubble trap at the top of the phantom.
- Insert the front of the phantom into the gas cone and tighten the cone.
- Scan localizer images to assure centered position of the setup.
NOTICE
Phantom expiration date
The phantom should not be used after the expiration date in order to obtain reproducible results.
