Tune/match arrangement up to the year 2015
The arrangement with the tuning/matching rods is to be inserted from the service end.
It contains:
- rods to fixate the system to the rear side of the CryoProbe™ (3 silver caps).
- tuning and matching rods for each channel (4 golden caps)
- a red capped rod for altering the channel decoupling (do not turn this rod – see Note below!).
To install:
- push the arrangement of rods carefully over the interconnection through the opening. The rods are to fit into the notches at the rear side of the CryoProbe™.
- Screw the silver-capped fixation rods to lock the tuning and matching arrangement to the CryoProbe™.
(A) Hold the rod arrangement with one hand in the middle
(B) Use the supplied screwdriver to connect/divide the rod arrangement into two parts.
Cover Cap for installations with CCM:
When the tuning/matching arrangement is completely inserted and fixated to the CryoProbe™, a cover cap can be mounted to the CCM (for the final setup, see Figure Final Setup.):
- push the covering cap carefully over the tuning/matching assembly
- first the screws (6) have to be tightened to the CCM
- followed by the screws (5).
- Then the screw with the blue rod (3) can be used to push the entire CryoProbe™ in z-direction towards its final position.
The golden rods (2) are used for tuning and matching the CryoProbe™.They are marked with the letter ‘T’ for tuning and ‘M’ for matching. The subsequent number indicates the respective channel number.
The red rod (1) should never be touched (channel decoupling) because it has been adjusted during installation of the CryoProbe™.
