Line Power Distributor

All standard components of the MR instrument are supplied with line power via the Line Power Distributor (LPD) typically installed in the Technical Room. It provides dedicated outputs to connect the electronic cabinets and components.

A Mains Disconnect is located at the front of the panel. In case of emergency, follow the procedure given in Electric Emergency. No other user interaction at the LPD is intended.

Some installations might require for optional components separate line power not provided by the LPD. Users should be familiarized with these components and an emergency procedure to disconnect from mains.

NOTICE
Connecting power consumers other than the MR instrument to the Line Power Distributor or connecting instrument components to other sockets than those provided by the Line Power Distributor carries the risk of electric hazard and can cause ground loops and instable instrument operation.
  1. Do not connect other devices to the Line Power Distributor.
  1. Do not alter the output connections at the Line Power Distributor.
  1. Do not connect instrument components to other sockets than those at the Line Power Distributor without establishing an emergency off procedure for those components.
